ANNUAL DINNER

The Annual Dinner is an occasion where our club gets together to reminisce on the past year. We hold the dinner at Rhosgoch Golf Club which we use for many different events. At the dinner we have speeches from guest speakers, club leaders and members. This is where we elect of senior and junior members of the year.

ENTERTAINMENT COMPETITIONS

The entertainment competitions range from pantomime to drama productions. This is a competition where Rhosgoch Young Farmers have had brilliant results in and we enjoy entering this competition.

This year the competition is entertainment and we plan to do a show called 'Showbiz Factory.'

COUNTY RALLY DAY

The County Rally is a fantastic day where all Radnor Young Farmers clubs come together and enter a range of competitions. Earlier this year Rhosgoch Young Farmers held the Annual County Rally on our 70th anniversary as a club. The day was very successful and everyone enjoyed the atmosphere in Painscastle.

KINGTON SHOW

Kington Show is the first competition day in the new Young Farmers year. Both Herefordshire and Radnorshire Clubs compete at this event. We have been very successful at Kington Show, where we are currently the overall winners for the past 3 years.

STOCKJUDGING AND FIELD DAY

Stockjudging and Field Day is the first big Radnorshire event of the year where all clubs compete. The competitions range from fencing, cube exibits, floral and cookery. Many of the competitions then go forward to the RWAS. In 2013 the club came 4th overall, which is brilliant for such a small club.

PUBLIC SPEAKING WEEKEND

The Public Speaking weekend is held every year in November. Our club tries to enter as many of the competitions as possible as it is a skill to help the younger members to speak in public. This year we had members entering the senior and junior member of the year.
